At DMA, we aim to provide as many encounters with employers as possible for our young people, whether that be through employers coming into school to meet with our students, or taking students to places of work to engage with different industries as set out in our Provider Access Policy. When it comes to educating young people about the local labour market, we believe that the best way to do that is through direct experience of the local labour market and the employees with in it.

There are numerous events that take place in school that employers can get involved with including mock interviews, enterprise challenges and careers workshops. A more detailed breakdown of the events taking place throughout the academic year can be found in our careers programme.
