The vision for our curriculum is to offer all our students a broad and balanced range of subjects at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4; deliver powerful substantive disciplinary knowledge and develop intellectual curiosity and a love of learning among students.
Over our three year Key Stage 3 programme, students learn a full complement of the core subjects, EBacc options and the Arts, including music and drama. Languages are also well represented, with all students studying French or Spanish. Alongside this, students are taught Religious Studies and Ethics, PE and Technology subjects such as cooking, resistant materials, graphics, textiles and engineering.
At Key Stage 4 students follow a pathway appropriate to their interests and ambitions, once again they can expand their choice of subjects.
Fundamentally our curriculum equips students with the cultural capital, knowledge and passion for education, that they need to feel empowered and become great citizens of the world, as well as pursuing their future goals.

Our Curriculum Leaders have prepared these easy to use keyword lists, in sharing this information, we hope that parents and carers will support their child’s learning.
For example:
